EU Environmental Impact Assessment procedures

13-16 June 2006 , UNDP-PFF Training Centre , Nicosia (10:00-17:00)

The UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future” in collaboration with the Regional Environmental Centre (REC) is pleased to announce the organization of a four days training course in Nicosia on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedures.

The course, through practical case studies, will aim at increasing knowledge in the following topics:

• EIA procedures and key issues of practical implementation of EIA Directive

• How to prepare and review EIA Reports

• How to review an EIA Report

• How to set up consultation process;

• How to access EU networks of information;

The seminar is meant for max 30 people from organizations, Municipalities, NGOs and professionals involved in this topic.

Working language of the seminar will be English. Registration will be done on first come first served basis.
