Assisting your company to meet HACCP requirements: Preparing your company’s Quality control files

The UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future” is pleased to announce the organization of a training programme aimed at assisting micro, small and medium sized companies operating in the food sector meet HACCP requirements. The purpose of this programme, which will include one half-day seminar and two on-site visits to participant companies, is to assist Turkish Cypriot MSMEs upgrade their current hygiene and quality practices.
Expert assistance will be provided to participants to compile their own individual hygiene and quality records in line with general HACCP requirements. The half-day seminar on 15 January 2009 will explain what records food companies must keep in line with general HACCP requirements.
Following the seminar, each participant company will be assisted by a HACCP expert to compile its own quality and hygiene records during two sets of visits at the participant’s premises taking place between 19 and 23 January 2009 (preliminary on-site visit), and between 3 and 10 February 2009 (final on-site visit).
Participation to the programme is strictly limited to 10 participants. Registration will be done on first come first served basis. The programme is free of charge and will be in English with Turkish translation.
