Seminar on Occupational Health and Safety for Quarry Operators

The UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future” in collaboration with Taşova and the Union of Quarries Operators is pleased to announce the organization of one day seminar on Occupational Health & Safety for quarries operator. In particular the seminar will aim at:
  • Understanding Occupational Health and Safety Management definitions and concepts;
  • Assessing and managing risk,
  • Identifying hazard;
  • Describing Personal Protective Equipment
  • Learning Best Practice implementation techniques from case studies
The seminar is meant for maximum 40 people involved in the sector of quarries management. Working language of the seminar will be Turkish. Registration will be done on first come first served basis. For additional information and registration, please contact by 18th April 2008:
