Training on Environmental Impact Assessment

Following the previous two training session on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedures held in June and 3-4 September 2007, The EU funded UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future” in cooperation with the KTMMOB Chamber of Environmental Engineers is pleased to announce the organization of the third and final session of training on EIA. The session will be held on 24-25 September 2007 and will aim at:
- Analyzing case studies of EIA for: sanitary landfill, mining facilities, tourism complex.
- Reviewing the overall process of EIA
- Initializing a workshop for the preparation of EIA documents of real local projects.
The training is meant for max 40 people for professionals directly involved in urban projects design and preparation of EI Studies. Certificate of successful attendance, valid as reference for future activity on EIA in the TCC, will be provided only upon completion of a test at the end of the session. Working language of the seminar will be Turkish.
Registration for this session will be done on first come first served basis. Participants to the previous training session are encouraged to register and will have priority on others. For registration, please contact by 20th September 2007:
