Training on EFQM Excellence Model

The UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future” in collaboration with the Turkish-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Turkish-Cypriot Chamber of Industry is pleased to announce the organization of 3-day training on EFQM Excellence Model. The training will aim at preparing participants to all the necessary steps to apply for the EFQM Excellence Award. In particular:
  • Increase the understanding of the EFQM Excellence Model, RADAR logic and the Fundamental Concepts of Excellence
  • How to develop a road map/project plan for progressing the 'Journey to Excellence' within an organisation
  • Understand the cultural aspects of excellence and developed a plan to engage people within an organization
  • Learn how to use some of the tools and techniques which deliver improvement
  • Gain experience of one approach to Self-Assessment and an understanding of how the Self-Assessment process evolves
  • Developed understanding of EFQM's 'Levels of Excellence', and in particular the first level - Committed to Excellence
Because the participants will be requested to develop, as homework, a case-study of duration of about 15 hours, the training will be split within two sessions; one on 17 September, where the subject of the case study will be provided to the participants and another one on 5-6 October during which the case study will be discussed.
The training is meant for maximum 30 people from all categories of SMEs interested in introducing the EFQM Excellence Model within their organization.
Working language of the seminar will be Turkish. Registration will be done on first come first served basis. For additional information and registration, please contact by 13th 2007:
