The PFF Academy

What is it?

The “PFF Academy” was an initiative of the EU funded UNDP Programme “Partnership for the Future (PFF)” aiming at facilitating the access by the Turkish-Cypriot Micro, Small and Medium-Sized enterprise (MSMEs) as well as Business Support Institutions (BSIs) to high quality capacity building services. The main objectives of the “PFF Academy” were – for all sectors of the Turkish economy to:

a) Increase awareness about the implications of the Acquis communautaire on the Turkish-Cypriot MSMEs and on business-oriented topics relevant to their integration into the EU market;

b) Provide ad-hoc training services;

c) Support compliance by the Turkish-Cypriot MSMEs with EU and international standards

How does it work?

To achieve these aimed, the “PFF Academy” organizes periodically seminars and training modules in co-operation with major European institutions, academic and research centres. Events were also organized on demand by Turkish-Cypriot MSMEs and BSIs as well as by any other entity having a specific interest in business development.

For whom is it meant?

Micro, small and medium enterprises as well as business support institutions.
